This amazing multi gem set Insect Brooch is consists of a Grey Baroque Pearl set as the body, to a Cushion Cut Sapphire to form the Thorax. Each wing is set throughout with 15 Old Cut Diamonds and 1 Old Cut Ruby, all set in a claw setting. There is 1vSapphire, 2 Rubies and 30 Old Cut Diamonds in total. Length 2.8cms. Circa 1890.
